Remarks

For getting admission to any NIT we have to crack jee mains exam. Cut-off depends on the candidate category. After result announcement candidate goes through josaa counselling consist of a total of 6 rounds and 2 spot rounds for admitting into NIT.

There are a total of 7 courses available for B.tech in NIT Kurukshetra and I got admitted in Mechanical Engineering in 2020. And from December 2020 we have our exam through online mode and the difficulty level of the exam is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

Nit Kurukshetra has not had a very good internship. Mainly CS and IT candidates got internships then followed by ECE in the IT sector. Whereas branch like Civil and mechanical has a very poor internship in core companies.

Placement Experience

Placements are overall good. Nearly more than 250 companies visit the campus every year for Placements for UG and PG students. The average package is more than 11 lakhs for UG students. Top Recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure in NIT Kurukshetra is divided into 3 categories according to the candidate's family annual income and if any candidate is from SC/ST category or has a family annual income of less than 1lakhs then they have to pay zero tuition fees.

Campus Life

CONFLUENCE is the biggest annual cultural fest held every year and TECHSPARDHA is the biggest tech fest. Nit Kurukshetra has a very large library consist of many books. There are many Clubs and society are open for all candidates.

Hostel Facilities

There are a total of 10 hostels for B.tech and each hostel has its own mess and sports grounds. In every room, you got a table, chair and a bed. Each room has its own balkani. In each room free wifi connection is available.

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards you'll be eligible for campus placements. Many companies visits are college such as adobe, nippo, airtel etc.. Avg package is around 6lpa Almost 70-85% are getting placements.

BEST COLLEGE FOR MODERN EDUCATION WITH GURUKUL NATURE

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

My College Experience

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.

I chose this college due to its ranking and the overall atmosphere of the college and also the reviews or various alumni who are in good positions today. I did apply to other NITs like NIT Bhopal, NiT Surat, NIT Allahabad and others but didn't get confirmation of admission due to rank factor and spot rounds. Due to this I didn't secure admission in other colleges. Nit kkr: one of the best nit in North India

Admissions occurs on basis of jossa and csab counselling through jee mains exam. I choose this collge because it is one of the best nit in North India. I don't want to go very distant college.
