My true experience

Admission is based on 12th class merit. I took admission in first cut off in 2017 with 94.75 percent (best 4 out of 5 subject in which one is language with higher marks). For admission you have to fill an admission form of DU for bachelor in which you can select courses according to your eligibility and wait for cut off. After declaration of cut off you can go and took admission in your preferred college if you are eligible for that. According to me admission procedure for bachelor's in DU is best if I talk about any improvement then it's about awareness that administration has to aware student first about whole procedure because some students are unaware with this and the result of this unawareness cost them losing there dream college sometimes.

I choose to peruse B.Sc h in Mathematics because Mathematics is my favorite subject and I want to do my bachelor's with this course and in DU my college is one of the best option for B.Sc h in Mathematics. The reason behind this is the faculty of my department, they are so helpful and serious about student's issues and course completion which helps students to improve their skills and help to qualify other competitive exams like IIT JAM or other college's entrance exam for master's or for other reasons.

Majorly courses are bachelor of science or commerce inspite of this there is a facility of campus placement which is itself surprising. But it is true many companies come and hire some students from our college too. Some education field companies or some bank like RBS or others these are some names which came last years. Unfortunately college was closed due to Covid lockdown and many of us missed this opportunity but there is a good facility of placement if you are capable you can definitely get a chance.

If I talk about fee structure firstly when I got to know about the fees of my college, I couldn't believe because it is very less in comparison to other DU colleges and with this less amount the college provide many scholarships to the eligible students and help them for taking a step ahead in their life. I also got a scholarship named SAKSHAM in two out of three years which helps me a lot.. And I am very thankful for this to my college.

Campus life is very cool calm there is no pressure of study all time. You can join your favourite activities club because in my college there are various societies. Societies for music, dance , debate, environment, departmental societies and a special club for entrepreneurs. After this we have our cultural fest named LEIOTHRIXX which is two day event in which student of all over DU participate in various activities and enjoy the event nights. I personally worked as discipline committee member and member of organising committee too and the exposure was life changing. I personally suggest to others that they have to participate in this type of events.
