Remarks

Eligibility is above 60% in pcm for BTech. The admission process was handled well. The application form can be filled online. I am from NCR so no benefits otherwise Uttarakhand domicile helps in reducing the yearly fee and there is a 10% discount when paying yearly.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this B.Tech CSE as I have an interest in computers. The faculty is good. Some faculties have Ph.D. and teaching is average. Mid-Term are held after two and a half months. The faculty ratio over students is 1 by 80.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship starts from 3rd year on campus but students take off-campus internship from 2nd year and students also get PPO. The highest package was 17 lakhs this year and there was a total of 1777 offers.

Placement Experience

In my college from 3-year students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like tisco,tcs, Infosys, Adobe's ethighest package was of 48.5 lkhs in 2021 and average is 5 lakhs. My plan is to get a job or to open a startup

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is high for students outside of Uttarakhand who don't have domicile. Fee will be increased to 30000 next year if we reatain scholarship (12% ) and will be 30000 per semester extra for opting specialization

Campus Life

The environment is good here at Bhimtal, computer-related books can easily be found at libraries like AI, Cloud Computing. There are guest lectures every once in a while, there are social clubs too like literary club

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I applied for the graphic Era hill University Dehradun, which is one of the branch of our university but however the placement and curriculum was almost same that's why I choose the campus which is close and next to me. As of regections, I did not get rejection due to limited application for colleges. The admission is quite easy where you need to submit the documents like marksheet, medical certificate, transfer and migration certificate, and a sum of fee to get your confirmation on admission. My College Experience

I had to choose this college as I was very late for an admission and this college was providing me a seat even after 4 months of admission date. I didn't apply for any other college as I was preparing for JEE Mains and Advanced. I was not rejected from any other college, I just didn't scored enough to get an admission. For admission in my college, they simply ask you some questions (interview sort of) and tell you the fees structure and then you can opt easily for your desired course.
