Remarks

I didn't take admission for the entrance exam. I took admission from merit based. In 2020 the cutoff for BA program in ramjas college is 96 for general. But I am from obc category and the cutoff for obc was 94 and my marks was 95.5 so I took admission to ramjas college. I took admission online due to the covid 19 situation. We can take admission from the du official website. Yes if they improve something online portal so it was good no heavy traffic.

I choose the BA program because I wanna be a TGT teacher. The Faculty to student ratio is 1:40. Faculty qualification is PhD level. They teach very well. With politely, Ba was a total of 3 years and equal to 6 semesters. It's not hard to pass but also not easy to pass.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 13500 per year

Placement Experience

After 4 semesters student becomes eligible for campus placements. There are many big companies that come to college for placement they give 5 to 12 lakh per year package. Students percentage who got placed 85+ above and other for their skills is also important. My plans for getting the degree to not to place but I want to carry my study.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees were good from other colleges. Because other du college charge annually 15k+ fees. But it is under 15k. I got a national scholarship from school for three years in the amount of 10k each year. Nsp scholarship for which student who got 90+ marks on 12th board.

Campus Life

Ramjas annual fest. They conducted in march the annual fest. All types of books so many books are available in the library. From every area, the field they provide the book for us. They give opportunities to play all games in college and their playground is also very good and grassy green. Football, cricket, kabaddi, basketball, etc are major games.

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

The admission process of the college is through Cuet ug admission examination, I had applied to other top colleges of The University of Delhi including Kirori Mal College, Hindu College, St. Stephen's College and Hansraj College, However my score was best suited for Ramjas and I was allocated this college during counseling process. Ramjas college experience

For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects.
