Remarks
The admission was through the rank of jee advanced. I got a rank of 6k and got admission in the metallurgy branch from josaa counseling. But later was able to change my branch to electrical engineering. Reservation is given to both sc/st and obc also reservation is given to girl child. Also, anyone with a low income has to pay fewer fees and if your income is below 1 lakh you don't have to pay any fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite difficult and takes a lot of time to complete. Faculties are sufficient in the college. Even our class is taken by two professors by dividing the class in two half as the size of the class is too large.
Internships Opportunities
This year a total of 448 internship offers are made from companies like Mastercard, sprinkle, google, etc. A stipend of two lakhs is also given. While most stipends are close two 1 lakh. Also, some got winter interns.
Placement Experience
The campus placement is quite good here. This year a lot of students got a package of above 1 crore and while one got a package of above two crores. Till today a total 1138 placement and 448 intern offers are made by companies like google , Microsoft etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fess is about 3 lakhs per year and hostel fees are 30k per year in INR. Also, anyone with low income is exempted from paying fees and many scholarships are also provided according to jee rank or class rank.
Campus Life
All over the year, there are many fests including thomso, cogni, etc. Speaking of the library there is a huge library and also a digital collection of books. Also, there are well-maintained lecture halls. Each hostel has its own gym and a central gym is also present.
Hostel Facilities
The room provided to first-year students are shared rooms but from the second year onwards. Each hostel has its own gym, tv room, reading room, stationery shop, washing room, barber, and cycles. The hostel fees are also very low.
