Remarks

As the college comes under the affiliation of Delhi University, so the admission was based on the merit of 12th results. Under the specified cut off released by the college itself, a student can look into the criteria and if satisfied so then should go ahead with the admission process. The admission process wasn't much problematic and complex. Every college, hopefully, follows the same pattern and ask for the same series of documents required at the time of admission. And if not on the campus you'd easily find an admission help desk easily. Delhi University has availed quota facility for backward and minority groups and concession on fee and merit is presented to the candidates who're satisfying the criteria.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I didn't have a psychology background at the secondary level but a keen interest in mental health do lead me towards psychology efficiently. Apart from the curriculum when I started studying psychology's different spectrum, I could see myself as a more progressive and empathetic individual. And about the faculty, teachers are fine yet seem to be having a targeted approach towards students. The teaching method is quite revolved around the analysis and is more interactive. About exams, which are held twice a year according to the schedule released by Delhi University. Exams aren't that difficult to pass if paid prominent amount of attention to the class.

Fees and Financial Aid

Delhi University is a government university so the courses offered under the university's affiliations are quite affordable ranging from 7k - 20k. The range of paying could be different for anyone based on their category. And scholarship forms are released by colleges after classes get regular and the process differs for every college.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life experience could differ for all, personally, mine was quite good and satisfactory as the campus had multiple food stalls and restaurants too. The campus has necessitated a commuting facility to the nearest metro station that is the new Ashok Nagar (blue line). About the yearly fest which is karwaan in which 2-3 celebrities are been invited every year to perform and grace the event. It happens around the beginning of February Or maybe till the end of March. About departmental fest, which took place in August or September. Every department has their own name for the fest, psychology departments were there. The library is quite reachable and convenient for every student who is holding the college id card otherwise.

Other Applied Colleges

Bharti College, Delhi University | B. A. (H) English

wasn't satisfied with the commuting facilities and travel timing.

Sri Aurobindo College (evening), Delhi University | B. A. (H) English

got admission in morning shift college in a prefered course.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
