Journey to the PICT

It is a great management system in the college. Even if you are new and entering first, it is very easy to find your way. I got that college by cap round as I have appeared for MHTCET where I scored 98.52 percentile as well as I applied for EWS seat due to which I have to pay 57000 per year. The admission process is very simple and hostels are allocated at the same time. One shop is in the college itself between 2 buildings for students in emergency requirements.

I applied for IT engineering in PICT as this college is one of the topmost colleges. Teachers here are highly educated and try to let their students be capable enough that it gets very easy for them to get placement. As it is an engineering stream number of girls are less but it's okay because the crowd here is too good and there is insecurity at all. Then talking about exam, even though this college comes under University, PICT arrange exam for students of same type before University exam so that students get brief idea. The way they arrange exams is a bit difficult but it helps students a lot during their University exams.

In my batch, companies I remember are Adobe, Shecodes and many other companies that gave opportunities to students and also provided a good stipend. These companies set exams for students and a few get selected further and have to appear for the interview round. Then projects are given to students based on the domain they select.

Since University applied a new rule, students have to do an internship compulsory which will be approved by College. College sent multiple emails regarding every new internship they know and students also get stipends around 25000 to 80000, 100000. Then students can apply for placement if they want anytime but colleges offer placement offers to students after the third year first sem. Well known and good company visit the college and give the good package to students. Around 90% of students get placed and few students pursue ME.

The fees of the academic year only are 1 Lakh but if you have opted for any of the scholarships then it is different. I have opted for the MAHADBT scholarship. So I have to pay 57,000 per year. There are many other scholarships and especially one desk is for scholarship regarding queries. Students have lots of opportunities regarding internship and placement. For the internship highest stipend got by two student's was 1,20,000 and a few got 100000. Then about placement 95% of students got placed in well known companies with packages like 31 LPA and much more.

Here , if you are too much interested in studies, this college is best for you. Here events like pulzion and other tech events are organised. As well as their are not technical and events are organised by students themselves and for that their are two clubs Art circle and Pictorial which are flooded with great artist in every field. But as compared other college PICT is much more if compared technically but fun activities events are less as compared to other college.

I was in the college hostel. This hostel is best as compared to other college hostels. The only condition here is you have to join mess along with the hostel. This hostel is safest from the perspective of parents. Warden here pays personal attention to every girl and boy whether they are in the hostel they are out. If students want to go out they must be on campus before 10 PM. And if want to go anywhere they must have to take permission and ask their parents to send mail to the warden.
