Remarks
Admission to BE/BTECH programs is conducted through two modes. 50% of the seats filled through JEE MAINS and 50% through PCM score. Has at least 60% aggregate marks in PCM in class 12. The application form can be found on the website and fees and deadlines for the forms would also be mentioned there.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is above average. Computer science offers purely software-related subjects whereas, in COE, there would be some hardware-related subjects too. All core subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, etc are covered in 2nd year, whereas in third-year different electives are offered. Overall the curriculum is good.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities for fourth-year are plenty , around 300 students getting internship and around 100 students getting internships in the third year, Internships are little tough to crack as compared to FTE. Arcesium ,DeShaw, JP Morgan Chase etc visited the campus.
Placement Experience
The placements are above average,36 lakhs is offered by Arcesium and Deshaw, Amazon also gave a hike and increased CTC to 44 lakhs which is the highest, and 9-10 lakhs being the average CTC for computer science branches. Many big companies visit the campus like DeShaw, Arcesium, Amazon, Deloitte, Samsung, Sabre, Amadeus, etc, especially this year there has been a boom, and a lot of new companies visited the campus. Almost 90% of students in CS-related branches are placed. For mechanica.l TATA and MARUTI visit the campus and hire in large numbers
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a tuition fee of Rs 200000/- per sem with an annual increase due to inflation. The hostels cost around 1 lakh annually and the amount varies depending on hostel and sharing capacity. Many scholarships are offered. In the first-year students having 95% marks and top JEE ranks get scholarships, students with 90% and top jee rank also get scholarships. Campus Life
The campus life is amazing. The campus is 250 acres offering almost every sports facility and even a synthetic racing track. The new CSED buildings are amazing and the hostels are also good. The library is quite large and almost all course-related books are available. Lecture Theatres in the new block are a class apart, whereas old ones are good too. There are more than 50 societies and clubs related to tech, finance everything. Overall campus life is amazing.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are good and the mess is quite average. Due to covid, there have been a lot of restrictions, in time being 8 PM for everyone, during pre covid times, there was no in timing in hostels for boys, but for girls was 9 PM, and entry inside the campus was around 9-10 PM. The hostels are a bit expensive but are worth the money.
