Remarks

You need to qualify your class 12th with atleast 50% to get admission in Geu. The admission forms are available online in the month of March. The fee is 1200 rs for the application form. There are no reservations in Geu as it's a private University. The admission process is very convenient and hence I don't seek any improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview

The B.tech Cse course is nowadays obligatory for the industry as all the industries are moving to tech-based. The faculty over student ratio is around 1:16. The quality of the teachers is extremely good and they are very qualified to be our teachers. The exams are moderate and a little lengthy.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for B.tech cse for each year is 1.2 lacs. There are 3 scholarships for students one is for girls which is 10% off on tution fees and for defence its 5% off and for students having good scores have 10% discount.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Grafest which is the best fest in the north and during this fest, the tech fest is conducted and these are conducted during the end of the year and are 4 days long . The Library has enough books for the students and monthly journals are also provided . There are many sports in the college and sports day is also conducted twice a year. There are also few in here like for EVs student . And for tech students there are also few and Yes the college is very nice

The curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on practical knowledge for real-world prep, though more hands-on application and updated content would strengthen it. Exams occur 6 times yearly; they are tough but fair for the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

From the 7th semester you can sit on the placement drives.. Multiple companies visited like accenture,adobe,tcs etc. The percentage is little bit low this year..i have not much knowledge about it right now. I will try to get a good job.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.
