Remarks

I chose this College because the faculty and the teachers are helpful and of good experience, as I heard from the ex students and I approve it too. The campus is ragging free with an anti-ragging policy. The college is very close to my house. Also the facilities and the placement are good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is according to MAKAUT syllabus and is good. There is also an Organizer present that you have to buy seperately from shops or can be there in the library, which helps even the students with lower grades to get them good grades by the question types and MCQs. The faculty members are friendly and as I am in the department of ECE, our HOD is the best, I believe.

The placement of the college is very good. Last year, 80% of them were placed. The companies like Amazon, TCS, CTS, Capgemini and many more come for recruitment of students.

The campus life is too interesting with sports and fests, both technical and cultural fests, quizzes, seminars, social awareness programs and debates. There are lots of, both inter college and intra college, competitions.

Wi-Fi is tehre in the library, the library also has advanced technologies and updated books for the help of the students. You don't need to buy books for studies, the college library will provide you with books and notes.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
