Remarks
It is one of the reowned colleges of Delhi University. It was my first choice. Everything from acadamics to extra curricular activities are just up to the mark. Full importance is given to studies. Teachers are very strict about attendance. There are proper doubts classes (each doubt class has 10-15 students to ensure that everyone's quieries are addressed). Teachers are very supportive and helpful. Apart from this, there are several educational fun activities like quiz, presentation, treaure hunt competitions etc. Students can join varios groups like English debating society, Film and photography, Fine arts, Gandhi study circle, contemporary and indian dance socitieies, women development center, NCC etc. The infrastructure is also very good. There is a lot of greenery in the college. The gardens are properly taken care of which enhances the beauty of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
This college is very high on academics. All the faculty makes sure that students attend the classes. Teachers are always available to solve your doubts. The course syllabus was also updated. Proper tests and assignments were given from time to time. Teachers were strict about the attendance which makes it difficult for students to bunk classes. I remember a teacher- Mrs. Sunita Marwaha, she was one of the best teacher of Mathematics department. She was always there to help and guide you in any possible way.
Placement Experience
The placement cell is not so good. Not many companies come here. Some of the companies which visted the college are Tata consultancy, Wipro, EY, Deloitte etc.
College Events
There are several events during the whole year. Some of them are sports day, college day( to celebrate anniversary of the college), annual college fest, diwali mela. Apart from this, there are out of station trips. Each department organises its own annual fest apart from college fest.
Campus Life
The campus infrastructure is very good. There is a wifi connection. Everyone can access it. The sports room has lots of games to relax and entertainment yourself. It has all the latest gym equipment. It also has computer labs. It has 2 floor library. You can find all the academic and non academic (novels etc) books in the library. The library also has a cyber cafe where you can sit in Ac accomadation and study on the computer.
