- The campus of IPCW is so good, there is greenery all around the campus so you will feel less suffocated.
- Crowd of ipcw is so nice, mostly girls here are so supportive.
- There's always something going on in the college so you will not be bored so easily as there are so much to enjoy.
Dislikes
- Society are one of major issues with ipcw, there are society but they're not active.
- Some of faculty, not all but few of them are not good
- Timetable is also concerning for some students as this college timetable is too hectic classes are starting from 8 am and happening non stop till 5:20 pm
Course Curriculum Overview
I've choose economics honour as economic was my favorite moreover it can be applied in real that's what makes it more attractive. Economic honour curriculum is nice till I've studied (I've completed 3 sems) , but for real world application college should make some more efforts not just ipcw but DU needs to enhance the syllabus. I'm gonna suggest that teacher should be less oriented towards reading and tells more about real economy and then tell us the concepts so we can understand better. There will always be class test going on in one subject atleast as we've 7 subjects (3 core and 4 additional) but additional subjects are way easy so mostly we focus on core subjects.
Fees and Financial Aid
I've paid rs. 29,120 in my first year, then in second year it was rs. 20,120 and in third year it will be rs. 20,120 too. There's not any category reservation in ipcw, du but yes there's financial aid for economic weaker section but there's some criteria for them they should be fulfilling attendance requirements and their previous score should be decent.
Campus Life
Annual function will be held once, apart from that there will be 2 day fest which held once a year, our college fest name is SHRUTI apart from that there's always some events going on. Library condition of our college is good, but seating capacity cause problems sometimes. The classroom lacks technology for sure, there's just simple white board and a projector (which is used once a year) . Sports society is somehow active but it can be improved.
Admission
I've applied other top north campus college like srcc, st Stephen, hindu etc. Ipcw was on 9th in my preference list. I've just gotten this college in first seat allocation, as DU offers only one college on basis of your marks and preference list. And after i went for upgradation i got this one only. My cuet score was legging from few marks that's why i didn't get upgradation. Cuet exam is only exam you need to give to get admission in this college. And the eligibility is different for different course for eg. For eco hons you should have maths in 11-12th and should be given maths exam in cuet along with English (English is compulsory for DU) Admission process is easy for DU, you just need to be aware about process and important date for that stick to DU's official website.
Faculty
Many of our faculty is good, but few of them are so rude and don't know the difference between being strict and rude. But many of them are so good and supportive. We have a strength of 77 students (my class) , and you can say 98% of economics faculty is so good. This college also have exam system like other DU college and as eco hons is a bit tough course and numerically oriented so exam difficulties differ from person to person. Mostly students lacks in maths, statistics and econometrics as per our professors.
Night Life
First of all Delhi's safety for girls is so popular so this doesn't need to be explained. But yeah in day you can enjoy. As our college is so near to metro station (civil lines) you can go hangout whenever you want.
