Remarks
It is an institute of national importance with fee subsidised by the Govt. It was situated in my state. I had dropped a year taking coaching for JEE main and Advanced and after filling the counselling, this was the College I was given in the first round. Therefore I decided to go for it. I knew it would benefit me in the future to go to an NIT in job prospective and further studies, so it was an easy choice to make.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty at my college was adequately knowledgeable. They were all from eminent institutes. Most of them had done their PhD also and some were in between of completing it. Although the syllabus we had was a little outdated. It hadn't been updated in years. And the latest technologies were therefore not introduced to us.
Placement Experience
The terrains of our college were mountains. Therefore it was difficult for many companies to visit for campus placement. However there were many pool placements which our college was a part of. We had to go to many other colleges for the same. Although many companies did visit our college as well. Many mass recruiters were also there.
College Events
We had a wholesome campus life. We had many indoor games and gym in the hostels which were open to all students. We had several clubs which helped us grow required skills. Although we didn't have a big or even a permanent campus for that matter but it was still above average.
