Eligibility criteria: 12th pass and jee mains score is minimum 86 percentile for sc category student and minimum 97 percentile for general category student and the cut off of sc category student (1 lac 40k)
Course Curriculum Overview
I like mechanical engineering because of my interest in machines. The faculty to student ratios are 1:5. teachers are highly educated. and The teachers are really friendly, and from my personal experience, I can tell that they never try to avoid the doubts of the students. The overall teaching quality is very good as they teach you the concepts from the very basics. Only one thing that can be problematic for students belonging to the rural part as teachers here teach in English, but otherwise, the teaching quality is excellent
Internships Opportunities
Every year company visits here. students can take their internship from in my branch more overall Maruti, Tata, Mahindra etc. The stipend got 10000-15000 k per month
Placement Experience
For the 7th semester, the students are allowed for campus placements. Many students got internships in the 4th and 6th semesters and many students got offer letters through internships. There are many top companies are visiting, amazon, Maruti,Jio, Mahindra, Capgemini, Infosys,etc. In my branch almost 90% of students will get placed .and the highest salary package offered is almost 15LPA in my branch, the lowest salary package offered 4LPA in my branch, the average salary package offered is 6LPA in my branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
Course fee-150000, The fee including the hostel goes nearly to 2 lakhs per annum. The are many scholarship facilities available such as nsp, state govt,etc and those students whose family income is less than 1lakh per annum and sc, st students tuition fee is refunded.
Campus Life
The cultural fest in Nit Agartala is called Moksha it is generally conducted in the month of March and the tech fest is called Aayam it is generally conducted in the month of November. There are many clubs like sports club, photography, drama, Coding, etc. The classroom is highly maintained and the sports club of nit Agartala is the biggest compared to all other NITS.
