GEHU- Review

1:-There is no strict eligibility to take admission But the student should have a science background if he is interested in BTech related brach 2:- Application forms are available both online(official site of graphic) as well as offline. Application dates start from the month of May and go on till October. 4:- paperwork can be completed in a more efficient way and not be time-consuming. Fees structure should be explained properly to parents with the exact total amount of fees not as they do give an approximate. Fees submission can be done with the registration process.

1:- having an interest in computers led me to choose this course. 2:-there are not enough faculty (one faculty) who have to complete the syllabus in roughly 4-5 sections of the student. 3:-faculties are well qualified. Most of them have a good experience of teaching. But a major problem is that in the CSE branch most of the time faculties are interchanged. Faculties are not placed as per their quality. they have just filled the vacated positions. Honestly, it feels that 6 months are not enough to complete the syllabus of one semester. Roughly Mid sem are conducted after 1.5 months into the semester and end-term are conducted after 5 months. University provides semester timetable. During the corona period, online exams were timely completed. But as the offline year started there was a major gap in syllabus completion and exams. syllabus was not completed. Exams are not that tough to face, apart from a few subjects most of them ask basic to high-level questions depending on a particular subject.

University holds more than 200 companies as a partner for placement drives as well as internships. Companies such as Google, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Salesforce, etc often contect colleges for intership programs.

From the 5th semester onwards companies placements are offered to students. As per University data, 1700+ placements have been made during 2020-2021. Highest packed as per data is 54 lakhs. And the university has an average package of 4-5 lacks. My plans are to aim for defense.

Comparing it to other similar local engineering colleges fees are less. We get scholarships on a merit basis during admission. To avail scholarship, one should get a minimum SGPA every year as decided by University. Having Uttrakhand domicile gives you an additional scholarship. Girls get an extra fee cut.

1:Grafest it's conducted in any month between Sep to Dec as decided by University. 2:- Universities have a well-defined library with a variety of books available. 3:- benches and chairs are not comfortable. Not enough space for a 70+ strength of students. 4:- there are hardly any sports activities conducted by University. 5: there are many groups and clubs for students such as swaragini.
