Remarks
I took admission in 2018 through jee mains. I filled the uttarakhand b.tech councelling in UTU's website. But didn't got this college in the online counseling I got admission in B.tech Mechanical engineering in spot counseling. Nothing to say about the process it was just simple documents verification and all.
Course Curriculum Overview
Some are good some are pretty arrogant. Don't think that you will easily be getting marks you have to maintain 60% attendence and pass the internals asa well as externals(through the last night fight).
Internships Opportunities
We got our 1st internship in BSNL ghaziabad in the summer break after the completion of 1st year around july 2019. And man those 20 days in BSNL headquarters were phenomenol we really enjoyed there. And I really thank our college for that internship. And no stipend.
Placement Experience
Only IT companies does placements here don't expect much from college. Placements will begin from end of 3rd year and if you want to get placed in the IT companies learn coding and all. Or prepare for gate exam. And also the package those IT companies give is 3.5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee varies from 32000-34000 per semester. And hostel fees is around 13980 (2480 hostel fees+ 11300 mess fees). Students who are from economically weaker section which is income less than 2 lacs per annum can apply for NSP scholarship provided they have they fulfill the criteria for scholarship. This NSP scholarship is provided by the government not by college. And there is a scholarship provided by college of RS 5000 to the top 5 students of the particular branches.
Campus Life
Hostels are below average rooms at my time were Full of humidity (rooms on ground floor) and mess food is just eatable. You will not be getting home cooked food though. But the view frim college superb you can search for the pictures and you will know. Library is quite good you can study there in peace and textbooks are there(even though not read them). We have an sports and college fest named JOSH and Goonj respectively.
Hostel Facilities
As I told you rooms are not that great the upper wing rooms are good but the ground floor rooms are a complete mess. Meal quality is below average in the 1st year hostel and average in the 2,3 and 4th yr hostels. You can also live on rent outside the college.
