Remarks

candidate needs to appear in jee advance and get rank with min 100 to 700-750. every year cutoff was changed. after clear jee advance you need to apply in Jose counseling and the eligibility if jee advance is you clear jee mains and pass class 12th with min 75%. and the total fee is something 8-9lakh 4year complete BTech. if you belong with st/sc/obc then you have to benefit in rank and also attach your cast form when you apply to jee the main form.

this college is best for coding culture so I choose the CSE branch and you found all faculty members the best thing is the placement is very high with this college so you didn't worry about placement. all sports facilities are available.

many projects helps in iitr and make relation with others to help in placement. and also u get an internship and u also have a chance to go in abroad to study. some projects like data security and data mining and Nvidia teaching center

Placement Experience

from the 4th semester, you are eligible for campus placement and the big companies like google amazon blueberry, Samsung etc are coming to the highest package is 2 crore from last year and the average package from the CSE branch is 30-35LPA. if google, amazon, and Flipkart big companies hire you then your package is very high. my plain after the degree is to a job in like google big company after 4-year start my own startup

Fees and Financial Aid

yes the placement rate is very high from this college I'm in 3rd year...but many of my younger friend have jobs they are in 4th year..and the scholarship is depend on your rank if your rank was good then you apply for scholarship

Campus Life

thomso is the annual fest in IIT rookie. it was amazing you know jubin nautiyal they also perform in IIT rookie and the activity like singing, dancing and all are held in IIT rookie. also, all sports like badminton, tennis, swimming all are in IIT rookie.

Hostel Facilities

rooms are pretty small but lan internet service is provided and the speed of lan connection is 1-2gbps and unlimited internet and the food is also good. in Sunday special food in a mess so you enjoy it. and the total cost of mess and hostel also includes in total college fee which is 8-9lacks

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. No i didnt get rejection from any college with my rank in jee main and advanced 2025 The admission process is straight like 1) JEE main 2) JEE Advanced 3) Josaa counselling Cutoff for top seven iits is higher than all other iits neans that you cant get into top seven just by qualifying jee advanced, you must have a good rank....Read More

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. IIT Roorkee - The complete story

I had 4 main options in hand after JEE - BSc Physics in IISC Bangalore (I had cleared KVPY), Electrical engineering in IIT Indore, EPH in IIT Roorkee, and Computer Science in Nit Trichy. I did not choose IISC, as I wasnt sure whether I wanted my career to be in research. My coaching faculties advised me not to take an NIT when I was getting a top 7 IIT. It was a tough choice choosing between EE in IITI, and EPH in IITR. However, at the end, I choose Roorkee because of its legacy, better facilities, and a calmer environment.
