Entrance Preview

I have given MH-CET and i have scored 72 out of 200 since my passion is to become a teacher therefore i have choosen khalsa college now i will complete my degree over here and then i will prepare for NET SET examination.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Bsc course curriculum include many subjects related to science but there is a option of choosing 3 subjects from given bunches of subjects and i have chosen CBZ (Chemistry, Botany, Zoology) and i am thinking of completing my course with Botany in last year.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't know the names of the companies but Gujaral Mam has informed us about it that placement of our college is great. Now only gujaral mam but many teachers have informed us about it that college has a good placement but you have to be in good in your studies and in attitude too.

Placement Experience

3.5

I am sorry i didn't know very much about it but i will asked any one of my teacher. And placement is after graduation and i am in first year of my graduation so after wards i will come know by itself. I can tell you that i heard about many mobile companies coming for placement.

College Events

4.5

College biggest festival is NAZRANA which is celebrated in the month of December. There are many other events which college holds for eg. Sports matches in well maintained ground, various inter-college competition. College also carries various educational events such as Extension unit, Industrial Visit, Quiz Competition etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students never think that they are senior, they are very helpful in their way for us. I am in extension unit of my college there i met many of my senior student and my group head is also a senior whenever i have a problem in that i used to asked her she is very helpful.

Exam Structure

Every college have students who are scholar as well as dumb. Our college also have some. After exam studious students are sometime in tension thinking of their marks and students who are here just to have fun they never feel any bad things they just enjoy the moment.

Faculty

4

Faculty of my college is brilliant. They never hesitate to help a child. Many times i myself have a problems with studies but in free lecture i used to go to the teacher of particular subject and asked him or her the dought. For eg i did not understand Dominant and Recessive Epistatis it was cleared by Pandit Sir who has retired this year. I must tell faculty of this college doesnt require anything to improve in themselves.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
