1 . Eligiability of ba programe is 12 pssed out with 60 % 2 .We can find aplication form on du's official website , application fees was 100rs , application date will bee around july-august 3. As i have filled the form through online mode and it was easy than thought so i think no improvment needed as of now

I chose this course because I was interested in learning politics so chose the BA program (political sci + English), the faculty is very helpful mainly . faulty is also very qualified and knows what they are doing at their place. the ratio is something about 60 students to 1 teacher. there were only end semester exams and with them, teachers gave assignments and passing is not easy as teachers also monitor students' behavior as well as attendance.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college fees are about 7000-7500 years which is affordable for many families in India, there are scholarships given to some with low income by providing the low-income certificate every sem students can apply for scholarships. as compared to some private colleges du have finacial assistance which is not too expensive and the colleges are also accessible to nearby metro stations which lower the traveling cost, as colleges are online mode so I didn't find any internship.

Campus Life

didn't have any fest due to covid this year, books are available in the library and easily issued but teacher in online mode share the pdf so that we don't purchase books classrooms are big enough, this college has sports like cricket, badminton, table tennis, and some which I am not aware of. as for extracurricular activities, we can join a society like photography, drama, debate, nature, etc.

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

It was not my choice to be in this college, rather i had not any idea about this college, it was just in my prefernce list beacuse of course and south campus, as i was enrolled in 2023 and now it is 2026, many developments and changes can be seen... Before i was alloted for Bcom, shaheed bhagat singh evening college.. which was also a good college.. the CUET UG and all the experiment of negative marking and round offs that time.. MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Besides this college and DU, I had applied to Allahabad University, Banaras Hindu University and the University of Lucknow. I got admission in all of them. But I chose to attend this college solely for the Delhi University tag. The admission process for this college is the CUET. After CUET results, you have to register through Delhi University's CSAS portal and make a preference list of colleges. Cutoffs to get into the college depend upon course to course. For the course im doing - B.com (Program), the cutoff was 713-717 for Unreserved Category, 571-577 for OBC category, 463-474 for SC category and 86-103 for ST category.
