Admission was merit-based. I find the application form at the Graphic Era Regional Office at Haldwani. The office staff was helpful and counseled me about the course and which course has how much future scope.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since computer science is an emerging course with great future prospects that is why I chose this. Faculty to student ratio is not par with the other good colleges but it is decent considering the location of the campus. Most of the Faculty members are highly qualified, some of them even from reputed NITs and IIITs. Exams were not very tough, a sincere approach would be helpful to clear every exam.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester only students were eligible for campus placements. Some major tech giants like Amazon, Zscaler visited this particular campus. The highest package was 30LPA and the average package was 3.5LPA. Around 90% were placed with campus placements. My plan is with my current job is to stick with it for around a year and then maybe go for higher studies or switch to a different company.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are as normal as other private colleges have. Financial assistance is given to low-income families. I got some relief in fees since I am born and raised in Uttarakhand. People outside Uttrakhand have to pay more fees.
Campus Life
The annual Fest that we had pre covid was Grafest and it was generally conducted in May-June each year. Books related to the curriculum were available almost every time. It was never an issue of unavailability. There were no special amenities in the classroom as such to mention. Just regular seats and board and projector for the presentation were installed in each classroom. Sports were majorly played by hostel students as I was a day scholar that is why never got time and chance to explore it. No special clubs are there. A few clubs were Robotics club and some few dance club. But they were not very active.
