Remarks
Admission in NIT Patna is done on the basis of jee main through josaa. Various quota is available such as obc, sc,st and there is also home and other state quota and female reservation. The process was smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is top-notch and lenient especially the mechanical department but I don't know about other departments. Students are divided into a group of 5 and 1 mentor is associated with every group in case of problems.
Internships Opportunities
I don't know about an internship but I think most Students get an internship as there is a various contest going on in college that promises internships. Students work on various projects like building a racing car in SAE.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internships are provided in the 3rd year. Placements are increasing gradually. 103% offers are made and there is still 1 semester remaining. Students got placed in PSUs, amazon, cognizant, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you are sc and st student, you are given a complete exemption from tuition fees and for obc and general students fee exemption is based on income. If your family income is less than 1 lakh you are given a complete tuition fee exemption and for 1-5 lakh 2/3 exemption is provided.
Campus Life
The name of the annual fest of NIT Patna is Corona. There is a two-story library but only subject-related books are present. Various types of the classroom are present with the availability of projectors and smartboards. Many different types of clubs are present such as dance, sae, asme, chess etc
Hostel Facilities
As the hostels are small and there is a deficiency of rooms so rooms are allotted on the basis of distance from college, usually Patna students are not given a hostel. 1years students are allotted Sone hostel
