Remarks
The OBC rank for Electrical engineering course in NIT AGARTALA college was 11000. We should write jee mains exam and we should get decent marks in that exam . And according to the rank in the mains exam we get the college. I have got OBC reservation benefits for this admission. If there is some change in reservation process there will be nice.
Course Curriculum Overview
I like core subjects . And in the core branch I got electrical engineering branch. Faculty is is too good and the ratio is also nice . Qualification of all the faculty is above PHD level. The teaching is too good . But the exams was not as too far between the mid and sem and between the sems.
Internships Opportunities
The location factor for any college matters a lot! More companies can come for recruitment if the location is accessible and quite feasible. Thus the number of companies who come for offering internships are less but still many diligent students are able to bag impressive internships by their sheer grit and talent by applying online through portals like Internshala etc. There are also students who have got internships abroad like in Canada,Germany etc. In a nutshell yes location factor matters but only to a little extent in terms of internship opportunities as candidates can get internships through online portals or through linkedin if he/she is deserving
Placement Experience
National Institute of Technology, Agartala concluded its 2019 placement drive with a 90% placement record. Over 22 companies visited the campus for recruitment. The highest salary package offered was INR. 36 LPA and the average salary package offered was between INR. 4.5-5 LPA. Infosys emerged to be the star recruiter with 69 job offers. Top companies such as Accenture, IBM, McAfee, Google and Morgan Stanley visited the campus this year for recruitment.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is given by government only. And the cost is also reasonable. And the scholarship is giver for some students who has family income less than 5 lakhs. And the scholarships are ffe ans nsp . And I did not get the scholarship So I did not know much about the scholarship.
Campus Life
We have joined the college in the corona time so I didn't know much about the fest . Coming to the club's there are much club's like anima,E Bajaj etc. E Bajaj is more important for mechanical engineering .
