The eligibility of courses in Delhi University is based upon your 12th percentage. You can file your application at DU official website. If you are in any reserved category then you can select your category in application and you have to attach the official document of your reservation. Admission process is quite fluid.
Course Curriculum Overview
If you are preparing for any Government exam like UPSC CSE, UPSC CDS, AFCAT or SSC CGL then taking up humanity courses is the best choice, as i am also a UPSC CSE aspirant. Faculty in my college is very good and understandable. Teaching method is bilngiual and they are quite experienced too.
Internships Opportunities
The projects given to us by our faculty are quite creative and fun to do. It enhaces our knowledge. Many companies like TATA group, Kirloskar, Godrej, Thermax, etc come for intership programs and job placements.
Placement Experience
The placement record of my college is really good. Most companies take aptitude tests and interview to select candidates for either intership or full time jobs. Some companies take a specific skill test that is required for the job.My plan is to complete my graduation and go for government exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees in DU is quite flexible. Course fees are low as expected to private colleges. If you take up a hostel the too it is low. My college has a society which works for students with weak financial background, and provide them support with their education. I am still studying as i am in my 1 year.
Campus Life
The crowd and exposure in my college is average. There are people from different parts of India and from abroad too. The library of my college is very good and spacious. There are all kind of books, research papers, and study material. There are many indoor sports facilities like Table Tennis, Billiards, Chess etc. There are football ground and vooleball court too. There are societies like Dance, Drama, Fashion, Etc which are run by students.
