GEHU is an affordable choice

The University allows admission in CSE courses based on the PCM marks in 12th and 10th standards and also based on JEE Mains examination. If you got above 75 percent in aggregate in PCM in your class 10th and 12th then you are eligible for admission in this course. The scholarship is also provided on the same basis by the university. Further discounts can be availed based on payment. Application forms can be filled out on the official GEHU website by the interested candidates from July. Application fees are Rs. 1000 only.

The university provides average placement opportunities in the CSE course and this course is the only one which had been estimated to provide a huge number of placements in the future. Thus, it is a good decision to choose this course. Taking about the faculty of the university, they are above average but some of them are really awesome and teach to the depth of the subject. The faculty to student ratio is normal around 1:90 that is 90 students per faculty. Taking about the university exams, there are 2 exams per semester mid and end. Difficulty entirely depends upon the type of student but it is for sure that if a student is attentive to what is taught in the class then he/ she can easily get good marks in the exams.

A few companies visit the university for internships from the second year. These are obviously paid and the roles offered are such as data management, web development, etc. If you got potential then you will definitely be selected for internships.

Companies like Adobe, Infosys, etc. Visit the university at the time of placements. The highest package offered in the year 2020-2021 was 32 lacs from Amazon. Around 50% of the students get placed with an average placement package of 4 lac/ year. In the same year, around 150 national and multinational companies visited the university and around 1300 students were placed from the CSE course. The university also provides limited internship opportunities from the second year.

The total fee of this course (without specialization) is around 8-9 lacs. The university provides scholarships based on 10th and 12th marks and also based on jee mains score. The fee amount can go up to 5 lacs based on these scholarships.

Life is interesting at the campus with some fests, clubs going on at regular intervals. The infrastructure of the university is average because you have got just a single building and you have to spent the whole day there. Hostels are also nice with all the facilities. Libraries are loaded with magazines and syllabus books which can also be issued and the library is open the whole week but the problem there is that you cannot issue books that are out of your course. Sports can be played at any time by the students in the playground of the university.

The hostel is nice with all the facilities like wifi, etc. Meal quality is awesome and different dishes can be seen on different days of the week in the mess. Hostel fees vary from 80000-150000 per year.
