Entrance Preview
The admission in the college are done on the basis of JEE Mains score (AIEEE at our time). I scored 56 marks. and i opt for this college beacuse it is from a central university (HNBGU Central university) and its nearer to my home. I choosed b.tech in computer science beacuse i love computers and i want to make it my profession. There are two course in this college -Btech and MCA.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is quite normal as other colleges have. Each semester have 5 or 6 subjects. The course structure also include labs and tutorials.
Internships Opportunities
Yes. College provide internships to interested students in 3rd and 4th year.Currently college provided the internship in HCL pvt ltd Noida. However i did not have internship there. I had internship from an IT startup in gurgaon where i worked at web designing and learnt a lot.It was a lovely experience and truly Golbal.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities in the college are quite disappointing, but the college is grooming every year and the placement and job opportunities are also grooming. In our branch Computer science 18 out of 35 are placed and rest are having the post graduation degrees and some are preparing for civil services exams. The students placed are getting a package of 3-5lacs annually.
College Events
Many events are celebrated in the college. The college conducts its own national level Techno cultural fest named TECH-NOESIS. Also sports meet, annual fest, cultural fests and many other festivals are also celebrated on university level. most of the fest are national level festivals and students of other state also participate in them.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes school offer scholarships to OBC students and SC/ST students. I have not availed any scholarships here. I do not have knowledge about the loan facilities offered by the college. I think there is not the loan facilities. but they can be offered by college in future.
Campus Life
The gender ratios will be around 40 girls on 60 boys.The workshops are provided in every semesters for students of each branch. Around 2 workshops wil be coducted in each semester. There is no such enthinicity or racism on any basis. Since college is a part of the central university thats why election are done on university basis.
Hostel Facilities
There are total 5-6 boys hostels and 4-5 girls hostels for the students. The rooms in hostel are 2 sharing. The hostel seats are fixed and done on the basis of 12th percentage. Some hostels are very well with good facilities while some are a little disappointing. The hostel fees is quite low and mess food is not too good in some hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
The interaction with seniors and juniors is quite good.Some of the students are now at good positions. They helps the juniors in guiding them, providing them good internships. Also they helps us in projects and also helps in off campus placements.
Faculty
Permanent faculty is not alloted for each subjects. Permanent faculty are good, experienced and knowledgable while non permanent faculty disappoint sometime due to their teaching skills.
