Remarks

IIT Bhubaneswar was one of the best choices for me as I was looking for an IIT college to start my engineering program. IIT Bhubaneswar is among the top engineering university in India. The faculty of the college is very good, the placement and even the education standard is very high. I cleared my JEE and was able to meet the cutoff standards and during my JOSAA counselling, I was able to secure my seat and able to take admission in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college curriculum is very designed so that the curriculum can meet the latest industry regulations. The curriculum of the college helps us to understand the electrical components and devices very deeply and help us to understand all the basics and advanced fundamentals of electrical engineering. The faculty of the college have completed their PhD program and their research work from the top universities of India and the faculty also have very good industrial exposure. With the help of their experience the faculty guides in our assignments and during the college placement rounds.

Internships Opportunities

The college internship program is very designed and we get an opportunity to complete our internship program from the top market leaders the internship program help us to understand the professional environment the internship is a very good experience for us to learn about the machine components and its design technique. The average stipend for internship was 85k.

The college has very good placement records. Every year college is able to maintain a 100% record for placement. The college has made its name for placement IIT Bhubaneswar is one of the favorite spots of recruiters. The highest salary offer of the college is around 56 LPA and the average salary offer is 16 LPA. Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, GE India, Honeywell, Maruti Suzuki, are the major recruiter that participated in the college placement drive.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarships through Merit-cum-Means Scholarships, Stipend/Financial Assistance, Top Class Education Scheme for SC/ST. The college complete course fee is around 8.50 lakh but the college provides very good placement offers the average salary package is around 16 LPA which is almost double the college fees means that the ROI of the college is very good.

The college campus life is full of lots of assignments. We are busy completing many assignments and studies. The college campus is properly maintained and kept clean. The college building is properly managed and maintained. The college library is the house of many books of our domain and many bestsellers authors books that help us to increase our knowledge and these books are very helpful during our assignments and project work activity.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is clean and properly managed. The rooms are cleaned 5-times a week and rooms are fully furnished and equipped with beds and almirahs and study tables for everyone. The hostel mess food is properly cooked and is healthy and proper hygiene is maintained. The hostel wardens are professionals and the staff is properly trained to maintain the hostel discipline. the hostel security is 24 hours available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

I applied for geophysics and mining in ISM Dhanbad. But I filled my current college and branch above them. Also these branches are not very popular among students but as I didn't scored very well in my JEE advance examination, I had very few choices. To get into an IIT you first need to clear JEE mains cutoff and then clear JEE advance.
