There should be more exposure to the students for outside world since I feel there is a disconnect for the students since they don't get much opportunity to show their talents.
Entrance Preview
I've appeared in UPSEAT to get the admission in college at that time only 6 seats were there for candidates of out side Uttranchal since Kumaon Engineering college was in the race of becoming National Institute if Technology of Uttranchal so i've opetd for this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Being a government college the curriculum was not updated for years so it was little bit out dated as compared to curriculum of colleges in Southern India.
Internships Opportunities
No internship since Since college was not very well connected by road & rail transport so not very good teachers comes to such a remote place although the existing teachers has given their best to teach students and find placement opportunities for the students.
Placement Experience
No placement in campus we have to go outside and get placed by off campus there were no company visited our college even though.We have tried very hard to get some companies.
College Events
Sentila was our annual event which include sports & cultural activities it was not a very big event where other colleges can also participate but it was a major event for us.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a government college fee was not expensive as compare to private colleges for each semester we used to pay Rs. 8000 which includes term fee, hostel fee & food.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship or loan facility was available for general categories but SC/ST candidates were getting good amount of scholarship.
Campus Life
There was not a good gender ratio it was around 80:20 male to female ratio there were lot of extracurricular activities in which students can take part since.There no other source of entertainment nearby that region.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities were good with very specious mess food was okay with not many options initial 3 years student have to share the room but in final year we got individual rooms.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very cooperative & very good alumni base with lot of students currently placed at very good positions in India and abroad the kind of support we used to get is enormous.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was as per nanital university & it was 6 monthly semester exams and in between 2-3 unit tests.
Faculty
Faculty was good but not very competent in latest technologies since college was not very well connected by road & rail transport. So not very good teachers comes to such a remote place, although the existing teachers has given their best to teach students and find placement opportunities for the students.
