To be eligible for the course B.Tech in St. Joseph's College of engineering you have to pass the higher secondary examination or equivalent with a minimum of 50% in PCM subject . Everyone applying for the course should also have to asss keam entrance examination conducted by the CEE. The application form can be directly filled from the college or through the website of a college . There are no fee for the application form. Admissions are done as two categories one which is based on the merit of the students in the keam entrance examination and the second one is based on the merit of the students in the higher secondary examination and is done by the college management . The college do not offer any reservation benefits to the candidates.

The course curriculum is very relevant. All the faculties are very helpful qualified and knowledgeable and their teaching quality is the best in our college . The teaching methods vary from simple writing on the board to using PowerPoint presentation to take the students to labs for a hands-on approach . Everyone at least own a PhD or post-graduate degree from reputed colleges in India . So we have a good faculty crew for the young minds. College conducts two internal examination during each semester at a time to gap of two months . The question paper is designed such that it can be passed with an average study . The end semester examination is conducted by the University and the question paper is somewhat tough. The colleges has an overall percentage of 55 percentage.

Our college has a good internship cell that help the students to get good it internship in companies like TCS Infosys etc . The college provides large number of internship opportunities to the student . The student starts getting internship opportunity from the third semester itself . Internship provides great opportunities to the students as it provides large industrial knowledge to the students . Many companies also give permanent job to the Interns after completing their internship . The college has a dedicated team for facilitating internship to the student . College q is the top engineering college in Kerala with high placement and good infrastructure and faculty members . A large number of placement opportunities are available every year to the student. Like any other private engineering colleges the fees here is also a little bit height but there is no in Hike unless approved by the government of Kerala.
