Remarks
The admissions procedure here was not very complicated. I just had to take the entrance examination, after which I got my name in the merit list of the college which confirmed my admission. The rank and the placement of the University was very commendable. I had also researched a lot about this University then finalized my admission here.
Course Curriculum Overview
Electronic Circuits, Digital Communication, Analog Communication, Control Engineering, Environmental Studies, Electronic Circuits Lab, Digital Communication Lab had the most value in my syllabus and then I had to practically examine these subjects and had to learn its practical use. Teaching method was also very impressive.
Placement Experience
NIT Sikkim has a strong placement facility. However, there was little hope for civil or mechanical experts. Except for the civil and environmental departments, all of the branches provide good placement and internship opportunities. There was a placement rate of 90% with package of 9LPA from the starting which was still better form me.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Because NIT sikkim is a college owned by the Government the course fee for every department is reasonable. I was required to pay a fee somewhere around must to 4 lakh for the four years. Fee was not a concern for me because of the good financial background. There are no concerns with campus jobs as they are available and also the University scholarship is there.
Campus Life
There are numerous festivals celebrated here, like as Udgam, Abhiyantram, and so on. There are many books accessible in the library. A lot of services for the department of academics and sports were very helpful for us. I was very good in sports also so I had experience of playing which made me into the college team and I explored a lot in that.
