I picked NIT only for the reason of its ranking and a useful advice given by my counsellor. I picked the CS department here since I had read that NITC has the greatest CS faculty of any NIT. The admission was through JEE Mains, we had to offer our college choice in order to get college as per the priority, I had sufficient marks by which I got college of my priority.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer Science was my first choice because it was our vocation. I enjoy coding and am fascinated by technology, which is why I selected CS over all other options. The faculty of NITC is superb, with the CS faculty outperforming all other NITs. The faculty members here have a high level of education, expertise, and experience. They made us to know each and every concept related to the topic, It was the coding to which I enjoyed a lot while performing under proper guidance.
Placement Experience
Mercedes Benz, OLA Mobility, and other major recruiters visited the campus. The following are the significant highlights of the placement drive. The First-time recruiters were Adani Enterprises Ltd, OLA Mobility, Mercedes Benz, Traceable then these companies became major partner in this. The placement in increased around 70% from record of last year. Packages are starting from 8 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For four years, the total cost of a B.Tech degree is almost 6.5 lacks. There was also many sorts of scholarships available, To support the needy applicants and encourage the meritorious applicants to do better, the institute provides financial assistance to us such as Merit-cum-Means Scholarships, E-Grantz, Reimbursement of full tuition fees, Top Class Education Scheme for SC/ST Students etc.
Campus Life
The clubs, festivals, and social organizations are quite busy, and the club inductions were all done with excitement and a great charge to attend the events, which was a lot of fun. The Club activities are also now available . We had gaming events and other interesting duties, treasure hunting programs etc.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel rooms for the single seater seekers were only available in the last year of the course and in the first and second year the it was necessary to share the room with 3 peoples and from the second year this was changed to 2 people and from last year on demand a single seater room is provided the candidates.
