Remarks
Ramjas College has a legacy of 105 years. I ran blindly for its legacy and I must say I'm not disappointed. But let me take you to the time I applied to Delhi University. The University of Delhi releases its form on its official admission website. The form is a bit complicated and no proper and detailed guidelines are available for filling it. Still, students with the help of Google and YouTube channels fill out the forms. After the forms are filled one can check the eligibility for various courses. As such I opted for B.A. prog which has no unique or special eligibility. One has to clear only the cutoffs and he/she is good to go. Reservations help quite a lot and a lot in the case of SC quota because you can even get the hostels from the same quota.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the B.A. program for it is the only course that offers two disciplines economics and political science, history, and political science, etc. But the course, faculty, and recognition were given to the B.A. program are inferior. Only the honours courses are taken care of and courses like BAP are just running without any department. The student-to-faculty ratio is very poor it is something around 1:80. Since I've already mentioned that BAP is treated as an inferior course any teacher is assigned for any paper and there's no expertise or proper pedagogy from the teacher. Exams we're difficult to pass and the terms are not consistent due to the COVID break.
Fees and Financial Aid
Ramjas is one of the most affordable colleges in the country. BAP yearly fees are rupees 13495 only. But the cost of living is pretty high and the hostel has very few seats so you've to pay a big chunk monthly for your accommodation. You can get a lot of scholarships from outside college but very few campus jobs or financial assistance from college because they're least interested in your adversaries.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of Ramjas is excellent but due to inefficient management, there's a lot of flattering on the campus. Moreover, smoking is so prevalent on campus and no one does anything about it. Due to the covid restrictions fest and all the other programs were mostly online and so they were quite boring. Sports, social groups, and all the other things are mostly at a halt due to the traction from line to off-line.
Other Applied Colleges
Kirorimal College | Bachelor of Arts
Ramjas had a better legacy and infrastructure than KMC.
