Remarks

The admission process was overall smooth but tiring on the other hand as well. The faculty was very calm and supportive while handling the admission chaos as numerous students wanting to be a part of the prestigeous college. As far as the paper work and verification part was concerned it took me almost 20 mins to got myself verified . Only suggestion from my side will be to have your documents updated and upgraded as per the university rules and arranged in a specific manner. The application forms( timings, last date , fee structure) everything was available online which furthur prevents us from physical choas and time wastage. The whole process was fine , only improvement i would suggest in the monitoring process which would basically lasts long for 2-2.5 hours . Help desks are made by the students permitted by the teachers furthur helped students and the parents go smooth with their work and reducing their pressures.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I had taken humanities which i would say the faculty is average honestly. talking about the other courses i have heard of good faculty. Teachers are helpful and ready to give you personal attention which is a plus point. Talking about the student teacher ratio might fluctuate because of the various reasons in the class ( competitive exams, fests etc) . Teachers are highly educated inspiring and motivated helping students to pursue their field of interest. Post covid era is basically pushing out students facing reality which is also reviewing teacher's method of teaching . Professors are well equipped with tools and techniques to enhance your knowledge. Talking about the term end examination : teachers notes and assignments are very essential tool for getting a good rank in the college and if you are prepared well, conceptulised its not a difficult job to pass.

Internships Opportunities

3

Internship opportunities are average to good. Roles ranging from HR to content ,graphic designer etc all roles are equally asked and priortised with average stipend to work with them . Gurukul, nykaa ,popxo and other companies are invovled

Placement Experience

3

Campus placements starts from your 5th semester i guess as far as i know Pinnacle -the placement cell of ramjas college offers good job placements with considerable amount of ctc but mentioning again BA programme have near to less options of placements and internships. Companies offer 5.5-7 lacs job packages on yearly basis averagely and highest offered is 15-16 lacs depending upon what you posses. Mostly students from bA prog pursue masters and so i am i want to masters to be egligible for UGC net examinations to be a professor

Fees and Financial Aid

Delhi university has its all colleges govt funded and under central so all its affiliated colleges are having minimal fee structure My course costs me 13500/- per year and for the following years i am paying 12000 or so . So the amount got decreased talking about the other courses fees might vary. Internships and campus placements work well in reference to stipend as one can easily get upto 10k or more depending upon the skills they posess. Post covid times students who have lost their parents or the major income source are provided with the money concessions schemes by the college which furthur adds icing on the cake

Campus Life

3.5

Talking about the campus life it is very student friendly the environment balances with your social life and adding to it there is very positive environment with competition too. Fests add life to the campus . Delhi university fests are treat to the eyes making it brief ramjas fests are crowdy ones with pros and cons as well with good personalities to witness. Despite the crowd fests add soul to the body.academic position is good but what attracts the students are the college socities that build up their skills . I would suggest if you are a book lover or carrer intented person socities would not flatter you much as sometimes it might disturbes your work balance and social character . Campus is another equipped with elections that again have pros and cons mixed up . Elections do come purposely but lead to unrest and disturbance to campus at a major level (ramjas being famous for it)

Other Applied Colleges

Miranda house ,Hansraj college | BA programme

I didnt choose because i was not getting the satisfactory subject combinations

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
