Remarks
I got 84% in 12 standards and for the eligibility minimum, 45% in aggregate is required. All information regards the Application form, dates, fees etc is available on the du website www.du.ac.in, application fee is Rs 750 for general/OBC and for SC/ST/PWD it is Rs 300. The college has a good exposure as 63% of students are from other states.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for political science as I want to be in the teaching profession I am also influenced by my school teacher. The faculty is good as you are with them, students are only 57 in our batch. There is only 2 semester in one year, but there is no need to feel tense about that because teachers will tell you the important area.
Internships Opportunities
The stipend varies from company to company it may start from Rs 1000 to Rs 5000 and if you are the lucky one then consider it Rs 5000 plus. Apart from interns and placements, you are eligible for exams like civil services, SSC CGL after graduation and SSC CHSL after the 12th.
Placement Experience
There are ample opportunities for placements .only first and second year students got most of them. for final placements average package Rs 4,00,000 p.a where lowest is Rs 2,40,000.Many companies like : wipro,KPMG,FIS globe ,deloitte and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for 1st year are Rs 11,000 and there are several student fund facilities available mainly for those who have a family income of less than 2,50,000. Many other facilities like scholarships by the government are also available.
Campus Life
The latest fest yuvaan is going to hit soon, and this cycle always keeps moving all the time. So, it's clear enough that you are not required to think about it, as it is going to happen in series.
