Remarks

. Admission was based on cuttoff like i scored 85 so my cutoff lied in 2 colleges but i chose this college cuz it is better than the other one but in 2022 the admission will be entrance based for all the courses. . U'll find the application form on Delhi University website . The application fee isn't too much for entrance based it was 750 but u don't hv to pay extra for merit based admission cuz once u paid for entrance based admission ull be automatically get eligible for merit based admission but if u choose merit based admission u can't go for entrance based admission and this fees is not just for one college like i gave entrance for beled exam so there were 8 colleges for this course i choose all of thm n payed the entrance fee 750 so it is not that u just have to pay 750 for just 1 college .FOR SC/ST/PWD the application form fee is 300 . Reservation benefits is there . . Admission process was really smooth as it is online.

It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. The examinations also are based on applications, thus, helping us to enhance ourselves in all possibilities.

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
