About my college

The admission process was fine. In getting admission in APE Up you need to get at least 80 percentage in your class 12. UPES also take admission from 12 class marks for few students and there is entrance test also more over you may also get admission from your JEE percentile.

I choose this course because I was interested in geology. Faculty are good in this college they have enough knowledge and experience. All the facilities are well qualified and every semester there is two exam and we need to qualify them.

Many companies visit us and they have their own criteria for the selection of students. They have GD, aptitude tests and many other tests and if students qualify and they student is eligible for the interview.

From 3 years students are eligible for the placement. UPES has many courses like B-Tech, Law, Design etc. Many companies visit upes and In my course, there is 100 per cent placement with the highest package of around 40 lakh and average package of around 9 lakh.

I think the fee for this college is a little bit more but there is 100 per cent placement also. So when we get a good placement we don't bother about the fee. This college also has many scholarships like if we are getting more than 85 per cent every year there will be a 20 per cent scholarship and there are many more.

In this college every month some new function happens. There is a huge library also where many books are kept. There are cricket, badminton, football, volleyball, table tennis etc sports in upes. There is an Instagram page UNE which is run by the students of upes.

I don't live in a college hostel so I can't tell about the college hostel but there are many hostels around upes and they provide many facilities like Wi-Fi, 24 house power backup, 4-time meal, laundry etc. But again prices are more.
