IIT Roorkee Experince

IIT Roorkee is one of India's most prestigious engineering institutes, and most engineering students in North India aspire to complete their studies at IIT Roorkee. Admission is done through the JOSAA counseling process. As a result of passing the JEE advance exam and appearing for JOSAA counseling, I was offered a seat in engineering physiology. I decided on Civil Engineering. If we are unable to understand any concepts in class, we can ask the faculty at any moment, and they will also assist us in clearing all of our problems. The college's faculty is highly qualified and experienced.

The college internship programme is well-thought-out and well-managed. After the third year of our curriculum, we are eligible to participate in the college internship programme. The internship is compensated, with the average salary being roughly 65,000. The college internship programme includes almost 65 companies.

Over 200+ companies, including Microsoft, Samsung, and Google, have visited, and placements have been provided since the end of semesters. The most expensive packages cost roughly 34 LPA, while the ordinary package costs between 10-and 15 LPA. The placement rate was determined by the batches. These offers define the college's standard. Members of the placement committee are well-versed in their fields and have extensive industry experience, which aids them in attracting quality companies.

Some of the best tech and cultural festivals are held in the college. There is a vast central library where any book can be borrowed. I felt like I was in a multi-book and section library when I was at the IITR library. Those who were a part of the university were not charged a fee to participate in university events. The library is well-kept and spacious, and it houses many of the world's top authors' works. The college campus is stunning, and the college's location is excellent. The college classrooms are well-designed, with air conditioning and digital boards.

The institution includes a total of 13 hostels, with 10 for boys and three for girls. Single-occupancy rooms are offered in the hostel. The rooms in the hostel are completely furnished. The spaces are well-designed and well-ventilated. A cafeteria is also available on the hostel campus. There is also WiFi available at the hostel. The cuisine in the hostel mess is excellent. Indoor sports facilities are available at the hostel. The hostel wardens are quite professional, and the hostel is kept in good order.
