The IIIT Bhagalpur

We need to clear JEE mains in order to get into IIIT Bhagalpur, scoring above 96 percentile would be enough, The admission process was smooth with no improvements needed. Rest, the process is similar as it is to avail and apply for any college through JEE mains.

My branch was Electronics and Communication, I chose it because of my keen interest in Electronics, The faculty to student ratio is very good in the case of Electronics, we have 10 faculties dedicated to a session, In the case of Electronics all faculties are very qualified(M.TECH and PhD holders from top IIT's), their teaching method is awesome they try to interact and make sure that every student grasps what they are trying to teach.

Many companies like media.net, Trilogy(Codenation), Techolution, Samsung offered internships. We can also pursue internships under our college professors, If students do well in industrial Internships they get PPO(Pre Placement Offers).

Stats would speak it all, We have an average package of our first batch(8.5 LPA) and for our second batch(11.4 LPA as of now), Many big tech giants such as Amazon, Nykka , Media.net, TCS, Synopsys, Vaahan, etc visit our campus. The highest package offered is 30 LPA and I have seen many of my seniors bagging a decent package in the range of 20-30LPA, we had 100% of our seniors placed in the first batch and as of now, almost seniors of the second batch are also placed.

The fess is similar to that goes in most of IIITs, this is determined by the government of India and college does not play a major role, On-campus placements happen at the starting of the fourth year and I have seen many of my seniors bagging great packages up to 20-30 LPA

The campus life is great, Although we don't have our own campus for now (under construction as of now) bit then too the rented campus and Hostels are great, we had Udyatava(the sports fest) and Techno-Cultural fest, The library and classroom are excellent with a variety of books available and full of facilities that are required at the student level. Extracurricular activities include Cricket, Volleyball, and Badminton. We have clubs for each of the above games and also a technical board.

In the first year, we had three-seater rooms provided with a single bed and cupboards we are provided with an internet connection(not wi-fi but LAN) with great internet speed, The mess for tastes best to parents but from a student point of view following the same routine, every week becomes a bit boring then too the food is good, hygienic and it is made sure that every item is fresh and good quality. The hostels of IIIT Bhagalpur are affordable and considering the facilities provided here in my opinion the cost is reasonable.
