Course Curriculum Overview
The main reason behind choosing this course was my interest in mathematics. It enables us to think critically. Also, there are a good number of options after this course like IIT - JAM, company placements, government exams, etc. The faculty-student ratio is 1: 87. This ratio may look high because of the high number of students. The teachers are well qualified and well experienced. The teaching method is good. One can freely ask his / her doubts from teachers. They are very helpful. The term exams are conducted every 6 months. The level of the question paper is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
The internship cell of the college invites the companies like outlook India, happily unmarried, design karkhana, India bulls, tech for India, etc. They offer the stipend according to students' capability. Due to covid the project and task activities are not going on.
Placement Experience
The students in the 6th semester are eligible for college placements. There is a placement cell in college called Disha which calls many companies for placement like google, Deloitte, HDFC, Maruti, Jaypee, Royal Sundaram Alliance, etc. Last year about 60 students were getting placed. The highest placement offer was 29 lakhs and the average placement offer was 8 lakh. About 95 % of students of Disha cell get placed every year. After completing the graduation, I will prepare for IIT - JAM for my master's.
