Remarks

I took admission by the merit base First of all we fill a form for admission which we found on the official site of du. First of all, u need to fill in ur correct details if the details are wrong then ur admission will be cancelled. After filling out the form then u need to wait for the cutoff which takes approx 2-3 months. The application form is around rs 250 The application dates are around July or in August we have 1month to apply than in October du release it's 1cut off In this method, we need to find a proper course and the % by we get to the college after 1cutoff du may release more cutoff on the no of vacant seats in the college As I took admission from obc quota so I get the 2% relaxation in the admission The process by which we got the admission is totally changed on DU held entrance test

Course Curriculum Overview

First of all the reason to choose the ba program is because I don't want to study the honours course I want to explore more subjects. In the ba program, I will study the main subject like political science. The faculty-student ratio in our college is good around 45:1 all the teachers are PhD and some of them pursuing PhD. We have a semester system we have 6month for 1semester the exam will quite difficult

As I mentioned on the above page our college is a government college it is under the Delhi university the fee of the course is good and cheap we only need to pay 14500 for a year. We are in a government college so the fee hike policy will not work in our college overall fee structure is good

Campus Life

Due to covid, our fest is not held from 2 year But our senior told as that we had great fest in our college. We have all types of books and articles in our library we can read daily newspaper and magazines in the library itself We having a separate sports department in our college and our day is full of extra curriculum activities We having many societies in our college Some of famous are Nss Enactus E cell Placement cell Fic And every department student club

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
