Remarks
The admission process was a bit easy. Nothing hard to say. During my admission, all we're saying is that there would be a CUCET exam to be held for getting admission. But due to the corona pandemic, no exams are conducted and admissions are conducted merely by class 12th results. Steps for admission: 1) see the admission form on the official DU site, du.ac.in. 2) For applying, costs around 250. 3) after that, wait for the cutoffs. It will come after 1.5 months of the application form.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course includes both 3 science subjects,i.e, Physics, Chemistry, Maths. So if any student having an interest in all these 3 subjects, can opt for this course, like me. Teachers in my college are most of the PHDians and have a doctorate. So they would teach that we can cover the JAM exam without any additional coaching. Also, the teachers are most supportive. We can ask doubts to them, without any hesitation. And they also support us in many ways. Exams are conducted as per the annual calendar.
Internships Opportunities
internship opportunities are available for the students, but mostly for students having a commerce background. Science background students also get an internships but most from a chemistry background Also, we have an internship cell, named PRAYAS, which provides internships to the students. And each company contacts this cell to hire the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Due to corona, fees are constant from previous 2 years,i.e, ?20640 for my course. Also, in BSc, students can avail INSPIRE Scholarship by which they would get 1,20,000 in the first year and 60,000 in 2nd and 3rd years. Other than this, many scholarships are available but at a time only one scholarship can be chosen. So all choose this, because of its benefits.
Campus Life
Hindu College is famous for its college life. Its annual fest, MECA, and fun enjoy, and chill. Also, there are many societies around 35 having various diversities. And the vest place for most of us is the Auditorium, where every day, the college conducts functions or any program. The Library of the college is much bigger, having a wide range of course books plus other fictional too. The sports complex is very large among other DU colleges. And various societies of colleges have international connections too.. which increases the range of student.
