Sems exam happen according to the AICTE guidelines and weekly tests are taken to 20 marks and they are easy to pass once you studied enough. These internals gets added with practical and theory. Overall it's not that tough.

More than 2 offers are made to individuals for internships I can't name the companies sorry but every one out of two internships is of a good stipend amount as having the role of a basic cadet on the ship with basic tasks. And every individual is capable of delivering 100%. Projects including engine tracking and weather reporting etc come out well executed in a ship with stipends

Students become eligible for placement from the 6th 7th and 8th sem, 10-14 companies visit the campus on average and more than 120 offers are made to students on average. Around 80% of student gets placed rest go for masters and some opt govt job. My plan after getting the degree will be to go with campus placement for 2-3 years while on other hand sitting at the gate to achieve a govt job.

The cost is pretty high it's 9lk for 4 years approx and a normal b tech from private colleges requires 5-6 LPA. I don't know about the hike policy but it's been the same for the past 3-4 years. You can get a scholarship or can be sponsored by other companies like Anglo Eastern Shipping by writing their exams. I choose my state govt scholarship of Swami Vivekananda which gives me around 60,000/annum.
