To take admission in Motihari College of Engineering MCE you have to first appear for jee mains and then you have to fill bcece form If your rank is around 1k in bcece then you can get computer science branch in Motihari College of engineering (as of my experience in 2021 this college is improving so this will improve in future) You can fill out the form on the official website bcece https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in If you belong to a reserved category then you will get reservation benefits
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it was affordable to me and it is one of the top 5 in the Bihar govt engineering college Students are good except those who came from reservation quota otherwise others are serious about their career In our college there are some teachers who are from bpsc teaching exam and some are also from nit/IIT, my maths teacher is very good he had done research from IIT, tbh I don't like my chemistry teacher but others are quite good and always ready to help As our semester started late because of COVID so we are in the first semester and our end sem is going to start on 10 June. I have given my mid sem examination and that was very strict but yeah if you have studied well then there is nothing to be serious about, just study well
Internships Opportunities
The college has an active Training and Placement Cell which conducts various career development activities to look into the placement of its students from various branches. The objective of the placement cell is to help students to identify their career goals and provide an edge into the present day competitive job market.
Placement Experience
In our college students have got placement in 7th semester there are so many senior sir which also come to guide us after grabbing the package There are different opportunities for students after btech some of the students go for gate examination for higher studies and some sit in on-campus placement and others go for off-campus On on-campus our highest package was 6 lakhs and off campus 12 lakhs There are lots of startup companies also which come to our college like crtd Bengaluru Seeing from the investment point of view it is quite good enough if you should go for a better private college but if you can't this is also a good place to be In Cse almost 70% of the students are placed My plan is to prepare for gate and after that, I will pursue MTech from a good University and there I will get much more opportunities
Fees and Financial Aid
This is a state government college so our fees are not much high as that of private ones College fees are very low the only thing on which u have to spend more is living and food And in Bihar there is a students credit card loan for those who can't afford to take higher education, for this, u have to take bonafide after registration and apply in drcc office of your region In this, you can get an education loan upto 4 lakhs and you have to repay after you secure a job For more details- Google it And talking more about college fees you only have to pay for exams and all and there is no extra fee
Campus Life
Our college has a big library in which there are lots of books available and students can avail them after making of library card Talking about amenities in the classroom not going to lie they are poor and the college must improve this as there is a smartboard in our class but it is in not working. But yeah after the change of principal recently we have seen a lot of changes in our college, our previous principal never allowed us for organizing any event but the recent principal is very good and we have organised technology day in our college and there were many events in that in which I won a trophy also. Now our college is going to form many social groups and clubs for which we are going tomorrow for the authority
