A person should be 12th pass with minimum 65%. Delhi University will upload its form on DU portal. All the details you will find on DU website you have to just visit on their site and check all the details over there.

I am preparing for UPSC and BA program is best for this. Faculty is good enough and the student ratio is 270 in BA programme. Teaching method is very good. For exams you have to study well and apart from this you have once go through 10 years .

As I am in 1st year so I cannot tell you much about placements and all but you can search on google for information regarding placements and internships. You will find everything on google or you Tube.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of Delhi University is affordable. Fees for Ba programme is 12405 per year. Different DU colleges have different fee structure of each course. The most popular course of DU is BA programme as much of students are preparing for UPSC

Campus Life

Life on campus is the same as school but with some freedom, as there is no dress code, you can come however you want to. The annual fest of DU is just amazing. All the students wait for this moment. Classrooms are good having all facilities you want excluding AC. And there are many societies in colleges, just go for those according to your interest. Like NSS, enacts, these are some popular societies which is run by students.

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
