Remarks

For admission in GVK b.tech course, you will need to score good marks in jee mains exam. Cut off of C.S.E in gkv is around 95 percentile in jossa. 3 more courses are being offered here in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good here and the faculty members are so much supportive and intelligent in their respective subjects. I choose this course because of my interest in computer science and intelligence. Faculty: student ratio is around 1:30. All the faculties are highly qualified and everyone has a minimum Mtech degree.

Placement Experience

Placements in our college are very good, many big companies visit to our college to give us placement. Average package in our C.S.E department is around 4,00,000 and more then 80% of students get placed from here . It's very simple in our department that if you know to code, the job will always be there in your hand.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for our course are too less in GKV as compared to other colleges like nit and IITs. It's only 45,000 per semester. The opportunity of scholarship is availed here by our faculty members, they tell us how to apply and how to complete an internship easily.

Campus Life

Life at our campus is good. We do enjoy it a lot and play can play various games in our free time and make out time enjoyable. Hostel Life is also very a good Few clubs have been established here for our growth in the coding department and a few for entertainment also. The infrastructure of college is good but our university is excellent

Hostel Facilities

A hostel facility is provided to a first-year student and then from the second year, it's upto us if we want to take a hostel or not. The hostel is easily available for students upto 3rd year here and also you are free to live outside of your own. The hostel is easily affordable for anyone as it cost only 45000 for the whole year including food and all other facilities. Hostel registration process is so easy, just give 3 4 documents and money that's it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

Life at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV, Haridwar)

I choose this college because it is old esteemed deemed to be university. It is one of the oldest university in India with much good prestige in lists of college. It is internationally recognized good institution as stated by the government of India. It is NAAC accredated and also UGC funded university. It is purely boys college, no girls are allowed admission in this college. This institution is managed by the Arya Samaj with collaboration with the state government. It comes under GFTI. I got rejection from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. My JEE Mains rank was not as much as it was required to take admission into Delhi Technological University. I was not able to score better in my JEE Mains examination, so my JEE Mains rank was not sufficient to get a seat in this college.
