Remarks

Overall college is good, but the classes as per the population of the students are very small. The canteen is good and the food is cheap. There is a lot of emphasis on other activities as well. Teachers are supportive and they know how to interact will students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being a history student, I am a little disappointed by the teacher of world history, otherwise, other teachers are very interactive and friendly. The teaching method is bilingual so that the Hindi medium students could also understand.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 13005 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

According to me, fees are minimal which is 13000 per year. Scholarships can be availed when you score the highest in both semesters of the year. Award of academic excellence is also presented to those who score the highest.

Campus Life

This is the best part of the college. There are ample societies one can join. Starting from painting to finance to dance to NSS, you can get societies in every field. Social service is on top which is NSS. Sports are also very valuable in our college. Maximum kinds of sports are there and they give you ample opportunities to participate in various tournaments

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months

I chose it because I am a tabla player and music society is very good. The admissions are generally accepted to CUET UG examination.
