MIT WPU AND THE LIFE IN IT

The course requires students from a science background in 11th and 12th grade. The subjects in the course are all related to science and hence it is a must to have the same background. You can find the application form, dates and the fee structure all on the college website.

I chose this course because, in today's technologically advanced world, statistics and coding is something that is known to show a boom in the industry in the upcoming years and hence the choice. We are 26 students with 5 subjects each taught by 1 teacher. The faculty has excellent experience with very good teaching methods. Even during pandemic times, the exams are being conducted at the proper time and with proper difficulty levels.

Since I am in my first year, I am yet to know about the internships and hence I cannot provide insight on the same topic. But MOT is known to provide students with amazing internships that will allow them to learn from the best in their fields.

Depending upon the degree, the students are eligible for placements in either the third year or the fourth year. MIT- WPU is visited by many companies such as TCS, AMDOCS, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, RELIANCE, INFOSYS, LG, IBM etc with the highest package of 37.5 LPA. After getting my degree I plan to go ahead with pursuing a master's.

Being an FY student, I haven't yet gotten the opportunity to get into an internship from the college as it is offered in the third year but being a private college the fees paid is around 65-70 thousand. For students coming from other states, there are separate hostels for both boys and girls with mess and food shops close by.

The cultural life at MIT- WPU is fantastic. With events happening almost every month, be it tech fest, robocon, or MIT's Yearly fest Aarohan, you will find enough opportunities to showcase your talent. Also, MIT has a huge campus so one can always roam around and explore its beauty with hills on one side. The college library has an abundance of books that can last a person his/her lifetime. There are books for every possible subject. The classrooms are equipped with a smart board that allows online teaching to run smoothly. Sports is also a field that students at MIT excel in with volleyball and basketball courts. The campus also has a football and cricket ground.
