I take direct admission on the basis of rank in the Ajeenkya DY Patil University Aptitude Test (ADYPU-AT) which is conducted by the university.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took the media branch and I'll focus mainly on its curriculum. Every semester we had around 6-8 mandatory courses and 1 optional course including the practicals. But the main part is the focus of teaching was equally divided between the theory and practical courses.
College Events
There are many cultural activities have celebrated in the university, for the fresher students freshmen induction, youth vibe, coke fest, Cultural fest, spectra, magnitude, sports day, etc and there are many cultural clubs in the university.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college offers up to 100% scholarship to talented and needing students. With extra scholarships to over achievers. There is scholarship offered on various domains, not just on the basis of grades but also on the basis of financial condition, sports performances, cultural participation, and achievements.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels were really clean with cleaners coming. But I did not enjoy the mess food much. they call itself an international university but if one does, it has to provide non-veg food too as people from different locations come. Every day having veg for a completely non-vegetarian person is not easy for sure.
Exam Structure
Examination pattern in this university is very difficult that there is a weight age of attendance, class test, midterm, class participation all is equal to 50% and the end term is of 50% total for the subject is 100 marks, and there will be a detailed sitting plant for the examinations.
Faculty
The faculty is good enough hee. As per my experience here, they try their very best to teach you what they can. Many teachers here are very qualified, and some seem like they just completed their college a year ago my teacher is really a pain to face you will find a variety of teachers here .. best ones and even the worst ones.
