Remarks
For admission, one needs to crack jee main with 96.5 percentile and above in general pool for both homestate and other state. Here NIT provide courses in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Also for B Arch and integrated MCA. 50% seat is for homestate and 15% for girls category. First you have to appear in JEE Main so that you will got admission in NIT Patna.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in cse branch but in my ranking I met the ECE branch. The boys and girls ratio in our branch 5:1 respectively. Faculty is well qualified and our rating is 8 out of 10. There are mid sem and end sem. Some teacher marking is medium and some have hard marking
Internships Opportunities
There is a Training and Placement cell which provides internship to some students. However other students have to grab the internship offcampus. It is not like nit Warangal that Microsoft comes and give you internship. You have to work hard to grap internship.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placement after 6 semesters. There are many companies that come for placement like Goldman Sachs, Facebook Infosys, L&T, and many more. This year there are 110 percent offers that will come to our college campus. In cse department, all students were placed and overall 70 percent of students were placed. I want take a placement in IT sector
Fees and Financial Aid
FFE is one of the scholarship provided by NGO..on the basis of income certificate .College fees are according to income of the family. Student have family's income less than 1 lakhs then no tution fee only academic pay. Many MNCs companies come in our college for placement, and placement is improved every year
Campus Life
Campus life is satisfying not so exciting and not soo boring. Adequate campus space for chilling and time pass. The ground is medium type. Cricket ground, football all are on one pitch. Hostel for 2nd year is best. Hostel life is best. Events are going on every Saturday and Sunday break. Like cricket tournaments and football and volleyball tournaments always going on weekends. Also special events for couples.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is not so good.we can say that it is average type. There are total 5 hostel , 4 for boys and 1 for girls ..food quality provided by hostel is average. Resistration process had been done at the time of admission .
