Remarks
Admission is done on the basis of Jossa counseling based on jee main percentile with 96.8 and above in general pool for both homestate and otherstate quota.The application form is available on the NTA site for entrance exam jee main which is held twice a year in january and april. There is 6 round of Jossa counseling and 2 round of CSAB for the remaining seats. There is a reservation of 50% for the home state and 15% reservations for female candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have got the CSE branch and the course structure is according to new education policy 2020. Most teachers are helpful in nature and all are well qualified. The girls to Boys ratio is 1:4 in our branch and batch strength is 102. We have two exams per semester with viva one midsem and the other endsem. The marking scheme is average except for for some teachers who are very strict.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placement and there is 100% placement in the CSE branch with an average package of 11 lakhs.The highest package this year is 1.18 Crore in Facebook and lowest is 3.5 lakhs in core branches. Many MNCs visit like Infosys , Wipro,Amazon, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is according to the family income those below 1 lakh have no tuition fee only academic fee they have to pay per semester. There are some scholarship programs for some students who are eligible. Many MNCs visit our college every year and we have 100% placement in the CSE branch, average placement rate is 80% overall and still improving.
Campus Life
Campus life is satisfactory our campus is a bit small as compared to other Nits. We have college fests every year like freshers party and all. We have medium size grounds and basketball, and badminton courts and almost every sport is available. We have a bank of Ganga beside our campus to enjoy. There are many clubs also like Hackslash, Natwansh, and many more.
