Good for CSE

This is fairly new college and there is construction always going on in our college but all the facilities are very good. I can make sure that CSE branch is very good here and we get to learn a lot here.

I took JEE Advance. I got an All India Rank of 3306. I got a recommondation from a student already studing here in CSE branch.

With the focus on research, the course structure for CSE branch is really nice. We get involved in various research projects and seminars. Course structure is designed give a good feel about every branch of Computer Science. We also get funded for all the projects that are once recommended by the respective teacher. The electives are also good and Economics is the best elective here with CSE.

Right now, our college does not provide any internship but you can write direct mail to the professor for summer research internships.

The placement and job opportunities are good, specially in CSE branch. The average from last year is 15 lakhs in CSE branch. Companies come with jobs opportunities for intranational as well as international jobs. For other branches as well the placement is good if your grades are good.

There is a intercollege technical festival called Celesta, intercollege techno-cultural fest called Anwesha, intercollege sports fest called Infinito. Apart from those we also have many other activities like KavyaRagam(Poem Competition), NatyaRagam(Acting Competition) and various hackathons.

Fees structure is feasible for all. Generals and OBC category have a Tuition fee of 1 lakh and around 27 thousands for mess and hostel and other expenses per semester. For SC and ST, Tuition fee is zero and other expenses are same. But for this much fee, college provides quite good facilities.

For students whose parents salery is less than 1.5 lakhs are offered a scholarship called MCM. You need to fill a form in the first semester and if you got selected than your college fee is paid by those people. Also, SBI and Canara bank offer loan to the students and it is easy to maintain those because we have there branches inside our college.

Campus life is very fulfilling and we enjoy it a lot. The gender ratio is very less of around 1:10 girl-boy ratio. A lot of competitions are organised in our college throughout the year including cultural events. We have our own technical fest, sports fest and techno-cultural fest in which a lot of competitions, seminars and workshops are organised.

Hostel is very good and new hostels are also building. Mess food is around 3 out of 5. Hostels have 6 lifts, rooms with 2 person per room and 6 bathroom cubicals per floor. Bathrooms do not get crowded. Rooms are a little bit small but there is no fun in living alone.

Seniors are very helpful and we have some very nice clubs in our college include computer club, robotics club, electronics culb, mechenics club, chemical club and civil club. Seniors teach us a lot and we got a very good interaction with them.

Exams are chilled out. Though we study through out the semester but we get a lot of time to indulge in all sort of activities like sports, fest related stuff , any hobby and gaming. Though we all study during our exams and it may become hectic during that time.

I had to get myself verified at one of the 8 IITs(IITB, IITK, IITKGP, IITD, IITM, IITG, IITR, IIT(BHU)) after getting my rank. After that, we need to fill the mock for branch and college which we want to take and then after four rounds. We get our college and branch from that mock list. After that, we get to the college and get register ourselves. Everything is very simple.

The faculty of our college though have less experience but they are very dynemic. Teachers are very supportive specially in the field of maths and computer science. Teacher themselves give us very good projects to work on. They guide us through every problem we face in doing those projects.
